Back in 2016 I attended 2 tech bootcamps to kickstart my career in technology. My biggest regret was not taking any free courses beforehand to better understand the material. Instead I registered for Rutgers Coding Bootcamp and paid $9,500 to attend the course.
The coding bootcamp was definitely challenging. I paid a lot of money for the course, and struggled to learn the material. Thus, I highly recommend taking any free/low cost course before making a hefty investment like me. You will be able to finish projects much faster, and also have more time to do side hustle projects to make extra cash.
I felt like I still wanted to learn more about technology after finishing the coding bootcamp. Thus, I registered for a free cyber security bootcamp at Per Scholas. Luckily, I obtained a full time job before graduating from the cyber secuiryt bootcamp, but I still have regrets of not taking any free or low cost courses beforehand.
I spent a lot of sleepless nights understanding the technology material. If I was better prepared, I could have easily finished class projects much faster, and instead use that time to get a part time job for money.
Luckily there are three bootcamps you can attend for free below. All you need is Twitch. Luckily, Twitch is free with your Amazon Prime account. In addition, if you have an EBT or Medicaid card, you can get Amazon Prime for a discounted rate of $5.99/month.
