Elizabeth Warren Speech in Washington Square Park (4pm-9pm)

What: Elizabeth will deliver a speech on how corruption in Washington has allowed the rich and powerful to grow richer and more powerful. Doors open for the event at 4:00 PM and the event will begin at 7:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public, so feel free to bring your friends and family. Why Design is more important in an age of smartphones? (6pm-8pm)

What:  Good design is more important today both online and offline due to the wide use of digital platforms as well as their distraction. These issues will be discussed by a Silley Circuits panel: Nancy Fire, founder of Design Works International; Tiago Estrada, head of Customer Experience at Atmosphere Proximity, a digital marketing company; Benjamin Williams, founder of Arsome Technology, which does digital brand promotions; and Janet Esquirol, who is creative director at TEDxFultonStreet and teaches at CUNY, as moderator. Cliff Schorer of the Columbia Business School will introduce the panel.
