My biggest save last week was going to the Shape Women Run the World Summit for free. This event was $276, and I was able to go to this event for free after finding a promo code online. $276 is savings towards a roundtrip flight from New York to Cancun, Mexico.

Investing In Stocks: The Basics (1:15pm-2:45pm)

What: Introduction for basic investment terms and concepts such as risk and reward, IPO’s, p/e ratios, and relative p/e ratios. Learn how to approach investment decisions and alternative stock investments such as mutual funds and ETF’s.

Demystifying Entrepreneurship: A Conversation Among Women (7pm-9pm)

What: The how-to’s of entrepreneurship is so often reserved for the privileged few. Join three founding women of color—Sinikiwe Dhliwayo of Naaya Wellness, Ann Yang, formerly of Misfit Foods, and Lisa Rosado of We Are Women Owned—in an open conversation on entrepreneurship, divulging all their take-charge tips. Composting in the City (5:30pm-6:30pm)

What: Join NYC Compost Project Hosted by the LES Ecology Center and the Prince George Norwich Meadows Farm CSA for an introductory workshop on composting your food scraps in NYC. What: The Tadpoles are officially premiering the first season of their web series, “How to New York”. Just one year ago, on October 2018, we launched our theater and production company, and we are so excited to be sharing this moment with all of you. This event is free with no cover, and we will have the space reserved for two hours, which will include time to mingle and to watch the episodes. However, we ask that everyone purchase at least one drink from the bar to help us cover the cost of the venue.
