What are some of your favorite free events? Some of my favorite free events include getting free chocolate, having my hair curled, and getting my makeup done! Luckily last week I got a free treats gift bag at the Mars Wrigley Sweet Retreat Pop-up, had my hair curled at the LIVELY x Beachwaver x Summer Water x Jiggy Pop-up, and had my makeup done at the CoverGirl Store! And yes, all this was done for free!
All 3 events had a small wait to enter, and at most I waited 5 minutes in line. The Mars Wrigley Sweet ReTREAT was less than 10 minutes walking from the LIVELY X Beachwaver X Summer Water x Jiggy event, and I only waited 5 minutes to get my hair done! For CoverGirl I had to take a train for 15 minutes from the LIVELY store and I waited less than a minute to get a free makeover! Going to these events were well worth it because the normal price tag would have easily been $110. For the free treats bag I would put a price tag of $10, hair blowout at $50, and makeup at $50. For $110 you can easily book a round trip flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles!
For this week’s free NYC event list expect free yoga, panel discussions, runs, movie screening of Joker, Photoshop, goal-getters workshop, comedy show, art painting class, swing dance lesson, and a discussion about understanding your financial statement.
